FURNACE (CALORIFERO) Ë un colletivo di progettisti di mobili lavorando a Toronto, Canada. Si riuniscono, fuori dei loro studi individuali per rinvigorire il loro punto di vista sul design e per esporre le loro nuove opere. Tramite una serie di progetti d'esposizione, cercano di promuovere intelligenti e minimi oggetti per produzione e creare un pi˜ profonda coscienza nella societý progettistica ed il pubblico in generale.

La loro prossima esposizione, BASE CAMP (BASE DI CAMPEGGIO), aprirý al Canada House in Londra nella Piazza Trafalgar durante l'esposizione 100% Design in Settembre, 2001.

FURNACE is a collective of furniture designers working in Toronto, Canada. They come together, outside their individual practices, to invigorate their design thinking and to show new, self-generated work. Through a series of exhibition projects, they aim to promote intelligent, minimal designs for production and create a greater design consciousness for the design community and the public at large.
4 CANADA is a sampling of FURNACE'S current individual studio projects. Their upcoming exhibition, BASE CAMP, will open at Canada House, Trafalgar Square, London during the design event 100% Design, September, 2001.
